DINWIDDIE COUNTY, Va. –Three weeks after the premature birth of her baby baby, Dana Griffin-Graves has provided a status update on little Kaleb.

“His feedings increased to every two hours since he responded so well with his previous feedings,” she posted to Facebook over the weekend. “He’s now having regular bowel movements once, sometimes twice a day.”

She also posted the first public image of the child.

“Look at his precious little feet and Long toes!” the status update read. “God is so Good.”

Late last week, Dana revealed Kaleb had his first taste of milk.

“I was also able to give him a kiss in his incubator,” she said. “One kiss turned to seven. Can’t wait until I can hold him.”

Kaleb was born October 20, 16 weeks before his due date and just a few days after the announcement of his “miracle conception” went viral on social media.

Dana Griffin-Graves and her husband Arkell, of Dinwiddie,  made international headlines in October when they posted their emotional pregnancy video online. Dana said she and her husband started trying to have kids after they got married 17 years ago,  but gave up after delivering a stillborn baby at six months and four miscarriages.

While the couple adopted son Keelyn, who they recently referred to as their first miracle, they believed they would never have a biological child of their own.

As time passed and their hearts began to heal, Dana recently started walking with her friends, but she wasn’t losing weight like they were. So she went to the doctor. That’s when she found out she was five months pregnant.

“I was ecstatic,” she said. “We hadn’t planned anything, we weren’t trying.”

So she started thinking of a way to surprise her husband with the news. The mommy-to-be put literal buns in the oven, and next to the buns, she placed a sonogram picture. When Arkell realized he’s going to be a dad, his reaction was perfect.
