RICHMOND, Va. – Westwood Pharmacy, on Patterson Avenue in Richmond’s West End, was apparently targeted by vandals Friday morning.
When employees showed up around 6 a.m. to open the diner, they found a front window smashed out. Employees said it appeared someone tried to throw a brick through the window, but was only able to break the first pane of glass.
The pharmacy owner said it did not appear anyone got into the store overnight. Employees said the security system was never tripped.
Richmond Police were on scene reviewing surveillance tape when a CBS 6 crew arrived on scene. The motive of the vandalism is unclear at this point.
