After a few great weeks, the foliage in the mountains is now past peak. Peak colors are widespread west of I-95 and starting to become less patchy near Richmond. High colors are found east of Richmond over to the coast.
Gusty winds Friday will bring a lot of leaves down. Some showers will be around at times Saturday, but Sunday is shaping up to be a gorgeous day. It will actually feel like Fall again with highs 55° to 60° Sunday afternoon.
