RPS students to play jazz favorites at Richmond Centerstage

RICHMOND, Va. — Richmond CenterStage will be the host of Richmond Public Schools’ All-City Honors Band in Rhythm Hall for a second time this Thursday.

The concert will be performed by the best 18 hand-picked musicians from high schools in Richmond. The students will be led by nationally-recognized Ms. Syreeta Thompson.

The Nov. 5 concert, which begins at 6 p.m., is free and open to the public.

This is the second year that Richmond Centerstage and Richmond Public Schools have partnered together for this event, which is part of the BrightLights Education Initiatives.  ​
