‘Antiques Roadshow’ appraiser stops by local antiques festival

RICHMOND, Va. — This year’s Virginia Festival of the Antique included a special guest from the hit PBS show “Antiques Roadshow.”

Ken Farmer is at the Richmond festival offering free appraisals to festival attendees.  In addition to its 20-dealer show, the Virginia Festival also features a full program of lectures and presentations.

The festival, which opened Friday afternoon, wrapped up Sunday at 4 p.m. at the Virginia Historical Society.
