DINWIDDIE COUNTY, Va. -- Two weeks after their emotional pregnancy video went viral around the world, Dana Griffin-Graves and Arkell Graves have given birth to a baby boy Tuesday afternoon.

Kaleb Arkell Graves came 16 weeks early, as Dana was only 24 weeks and one day pregnant. The family is asking for prayers for Dana and their little one at this time.

Dana posted an update on Facebook Wednesday that said in part:

"Kaleb Arkell Graves was born yesterday at 10/20/1015 at 1:08 PM. He is tiny in statue but he is a fighter. He is in stable but critical condition."

"With only a 5% chance of survival, Kaleb is here. I'm grateful to God, my wonderful husband Arkell and my amazing family."

"I want to thank everyone for the constant prayers, Please keep praying. We are asking God to finish this and give us a healthy son. I count it all done.
I appreciate everyone whose followed our journey.#TEAMKALEB!!"

"Today, our baby will have to be delivered, at 24 weeks and one day," a post on the Arkell & Dana's Baby Bun Facebook page detailed. "As Dana is in critical care, her body has endured all it can take. We are believing God. It's always been in His Hands, so we hold on to Him. Please keep us in your prayers today and always. We apologize that we are unable to answer every call, text and message, but please know that we appreciate you. Help us thank Him in advance for the miracle that is about to happen. ‪#‎DeliveryDay‬ ‪#‎KeepPraying‬"

The couple made international headlines earlier this month when they posted their emotional pregnancy video online.

Dana Griffin-Graves said she and her husband started trying to have kids after they got married 17 years ago.

“We had everything planned,” she told Buzzfeed.

But the couple didn’t anticipate the struggles that were ahead. After delivering a stillborn baby at six months, and four miscarriages, the couple decided to let go of their dream of being parents.

“It just didn’t work out, so we kind of gave up,” Dana said.

So time passed and their hearts began to heal. Dana recently started walking with her friends, but she wasn’t losing weight like they were. So she went to the doctor. That’s when she found out she’s five months pregnant.

“I was ecstatic,” she said. “We hadn’t planned anything, we weren’t trying.”

So she started thinking of a way to surprise her husband with the news. The mommy-to-be put literal buns in the oven, and next to the buns, she placed a sonogram picture.

When Arkell realized he’s going to be a dad, his reaction was perfect.

Nearly 10 million people viewed the video on Dana's YouTube page.
