CHESAPEAKE, Va. -- Police are investigating a homicide after a teenager was shot outside Western Branch High School in Chesapeake Sunday evening, according to WTKR.
The victim is 19 years old, according to Det. D.M. Boykin with Chesapeake police.
Officers were dispatched to Bruin Place at 5:47 p.m. after witnesses saw the teen running in front of the school and realized he needed help.
Medics transported the victim to Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center where he died.
Police have not released a description of a suspect or any details about what led to the shooting.
