Ellen welcomes her newlywed friend, Justin Theroux, on Wednesday's “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”

Justin chats about his impromptu wedding and explains why some guests didn’t even know about it. “The Leftovers” star admits it feels great calling Jennifer Aniston his wife. Find out why Jennifer won’t get on the back of Justin’s motorcycle.

Plus, since Justin found it brutal to be away from his wife while taping “The Leftovers” in Austin, Texas Ellen gifts him with a life-size Jennifer Aniston doll for the next time he has to travel.

On his wedding and calling Jennifer his “wife"

Ellen: So the last time I saw you it was the beautiful wedding and I haven’t seen you since then. Congratulations again!

Justin: Thank you, Ellen. Thank you.

Ellen: For that amazing. Oh My G-d It took so long for this to happen!

Justin: Oh My G-d.

Ellen: I mean first of all you held on to the ring forever. Before you even gave her the ring.

Justin: Yeah I had that forever in my pocket.

Ellen: Then you took forever for the wedding. You move slowly, Justin.

Justin: It’s hard to schedule it.

Ellen: Yeah I know because you were shooting.

Justin: I was shooting. She was shooting. And then we were trying to figure out when the best time was and then ya know, we were trying to do it under the radar and then we finally found the window.

Ellen: And you did. Now here’s my question because I know that everybody is talking about this. That some people were told that it was a birthday party. Most people knew, I knew that it was a wedding, Portia and I knew. Most people knew so very few people and you could spot the ones there that didn’t know that were in flip-flops and jeans. What did you say to them because they must think…

Justin: Well it was actually a massive miscalculation. Because we thought we’re gonna to tell some people this and some people that and then people that really have to that have busy schedules and whatever. So then afterwards we kind of realized that was a terrible plan. You’re basically telling half your guests you’re unemployed and we can’t trust you. Which is of course not the case. We just sort of put it out there and people that said yes to the birthday and I’ll be there and if they said, “we can’t” we really put more pressure on them to be at the “birthday.” Listen.

Ellen: Yeah. You need to be at the birthday.

Justin: You need to come to the birthday.

Ellen: Yeah, but there were some people that really did.

Justin: There were people there who were just in jeans. We’ve also have friends when we’ve done barbeques and stuff that show up dressed the nines. Like this is the thing, right? No this is just a barbeque.

Ellen: They just gave up and stopped coming.

Justin: They just gave up and stopped coming. Yeah.

Ellen: And they weren’t there those people you’re talking about I’ll talk to you about that later. So now you’re calling her wife, I assume?

Justin: Yeah.

Ellen: And that’s a fun word right?

Justin: The first couple days of doing it, it’s a great feeling. You’re not saying fiancé, after a while, sounds cute at first, then you go like eh fiancé. Then you get to say “my wife.” Then after a couple of days I realized I could work it into a terrible Borat bit and just go, “my wife, my wife.” And it’s just hysterical. Now she’s tired she’s like please stop calling me my wife.

Ellen: but she says husband all the time just for no reason it’s just fun to work it into a sentence.

Justin: It’s just hey where’s my husband? Where’s my wife?

Ellen: And you’re right next to her?

Justin: Yeah stuff like that. Yeah, right beside her.

On Jennifer’s fear of riding on his motorcycle:

Ellen: Jennifer will not get on the back of the motorcycle?

Justin: She’s gotten on like three times, but she’s done with it she doesn’t want to do it anymore.

Ellen: It’s dangerous!

Justin: She does not like it. She doesn’t feel in control sitting behind someone driving fast on a motorcycle. Which I understand I wouldn’t want to sit behind someone.
