Gunmen who carjacked Richmond driver now on the run in Chesterfield

RICHMOND, Va. -- Richmond police are on the hunt for four suspects believed to be involved in a late night carjacking. The gunmen walked up on the victim along the 4600 block of Southwood Parkway around 10 p.m. Sunday and stole his wallet and car, police said.

Police spotted the victim's stolen car about three hours later near Chippenham Parkway and Belmont Road. When the driver sped off, officers gave chase.

When the car arrived at an apartment complex on Handle Court in Chesterfield, all four suspect got out and ran. Police are still looking for those men.

Police have not yet released descriptions of the suspects.
