RICHMOND, Va - Lt. Chris Armstrong and Lt. Brian Dalrymple of the Richmond Fire Department brought along newly appointed Accelerant Detection Canine, K-9 Pearl, to talk about the importance of having working smoke alarms. In honor of National Fire Prevention Week, Lt. Armstrong and Lt. Dalrymple are spreading this year’s theme, ‘Hear the beep where you sleep,’ insisting that every bedroom has a working smoke alarm.
