Woman accused of stabbing husband over what he did during sex

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — A Florida woman is accused of trying to kill her husband by stabbing him in the neck while they were having sex.

Christina Balazi, 39, was charged with first-degree attempted murder.

When police arrived on the scene, they saw Balazi trying to get away in her car, according to WPBF. Christopher Balazi, was found with multiple stab wounds.

Christopher Balazi told police that he and his wife were in bed when she put a sheet over his face and he started to feel a sharp pain in his neck. That pain was followed by several more sharp pains in his neck, chest and head.

When Christopher Balazi removed the sheet, he saw that his wife was holding a kitchen knife.

According to police, he then ran downstairs and his wife chased him. Christopher Balazi was eventually able to take the knife from her and call police.

He was treated for seven stab wounds at a local hospital.

Christina Balazi told detectives that she stabbed her husband because he called out another woman’s name while they were having sex.

The couple had been married for 10 years.
