Delivery driver robbed at gunpoint, of cash and food

RICHMOND, Va. – Early Sunday morning a delivery driver had food and money stolen from him at gunpoint.

Shortly after 1 a.m. on Oct. 4, officers were called to the 1300 block of Coalter Street for reports of an armed robbery.

The victim reported that he was making a food delivery when he was approached by two young men who stated they had placed the order, police said.

One of the men displayed a handgun and demanded money from the victim. The second suspect, who was also armed with a handgun, took the food order from the driver, according to police.

Both suspects fled on foot.

The suspects are described as black males, age 18-20.

The first suspect was last seen wearing a black T-shirt.

The second wore a yellow and white shirt and black jogging pants at the time of the incident.
