Richmond Fire investigating cause of Alexander Ave. house fire

RICHMOND, Va. — Fire investigators are working to determine what started a fire at a house in the 2500 block of Alexander Ave. in Richmond. Richmond Fire received a call at at 9:07 p.m. and crews were on scene at 9:10 p.m. for the fire.

Smoke was visible coming from the house. No one was inside at the time of the blaze. There were no injuries reported in the fire. The fire was marked under control at 9:17.
