HENRICO COUNTY, Va. — The ALDI grocery chain hopes to hire more store associates for its Richmond-area locations.
The hiring event will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 7, from 8 a.m. to noon and from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Hampton Inn Richmond-Midlothian Turnpike, at 800 Research Road.
In this round of new hires, ALDI plans to employ 18 store associates, with a salary of $11.35 per hour, and manager trainees, with a salary of $21.60 per hour.
ALDI said that in addition to industry standard wages, they over full health insurance, dental coverage and 401k for staff working at least 25 hours a week.
Job Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older to apply
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be available to work anytime between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m., Monday – Sunday
- Retail experience preferred
- Management experience preferred for Manager Trainees
- Drug screening and background check
- Ability to lift 45 pounds
There are currently ALDI grocery stores located at 7003 Mechanicsville Turnpike in Mechanicsville, 8951 Staples Mill Road in Henrico, 1776 North Parham Road in Henrico and 465 Charles Dimmock Parkway in Colonial Heights.
