Witnesses see car speed off after women shot multiple times in Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. -- Richmond police are investigating a shooting involving two women in Richmond. Police received a call around 11:20 p.m. to the 1900 block of Creighton Road, where police responded and found two women shot.

Police sources told CBS 6 one of the victims was hit multiple times. Both women were taken to VCU Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries, police said.

Eyewitnesses spotted a silver vehicle fleeing the scene, and officers believe it was involved in the shooting.
