Young, police said, attempted several times to strike up conversation with a girl at the school bus stop.

"The suspect made initial contact with the juvenile while she was waiting for her school bus on the morning of Thursday, September 10," Kirkpatrick said. "The suspect again made contact with the juvenile on the morning of Friday, September 11, while she was waiting for the bus. When the juvenile got off the bus Friday afternoon, the suspect was waiting for her and proceeded to follow the juvenile to her apartment building."
