HENRICO COUNTY, Va. -- Officials say a suspicious package closed New Market Road (Route 5) at Midview Road in Henrico County for a brief time Wednesday morning.
VDOT advised drivers just after 10:45 a.m. to expect delays and to use an alternate route.
Henrico police said the package turned out to be not dangerous and was removed. Shortly after, the road re-opened.
