Martin’s alerts customers to voluntary recall of Suncrest Farms Pork Skins

CARLISLE, Pa. — Martin’s and Giant Food Stores announced they have removed from sale Suncrest Pork Skins, following a voluntary recall by The Pork Rind Factory.

The reason for the recall is because Suncrest Pork Skins may contain milk and soy, allergens that are not listed on the ingredient label.

The following products are included in this recall:

  • Suncrest Farms Hot Pork Skins, 2.25 oz., UPC 70651700020, with use-by dates of 12/27/15 and 12/21/15
  • Suncrest Farms Salt & Pepper Pork Skins, 2.25 oz., UPC 70651700017, with use-by dates of 9/16/15, 01/12/16 and 02/15/16.

Martin’s have not received any reports of illnesses to date.

Customers who have purchased this product should discard any unused portions and bring their purchase receipt to Martin’s/Giant for a full refund.
