RICHMOND, Va. -- Lawyers for Martese Johnson, the University of Virginia student whose bloody arrest by Virginia ABC agents was captured on camera in March, said they are not receiving full access to a recent report on their client's arrest.
That report, which was released in August, determined the officers involved did not violate policy. As a result, the agents, whose names have never been released, were reinstated.
However, the contents of the report have not been made public.
Video of Johnson’s arrest went viral and prompted an investigation by Virginia State Police at Gov. Terry McAuliffe's request.
