RICHMOND, Va. -- High pressure in New England and low pressure over the southeastern United States continue to bring northeasterly winds into our region. This have been pushing moisture at us in occasional waves. There will be occasional cloudy periods Sunday with a few showers are possible. This will be most common across eastern and southern Virginia.
The pattern will change over the next couple of days, allowing more sunshine and hotter weather. Labor Day should be mainly dry, but Virginia Beach could see a shower.
