HANOVER COUNTY, Va. — I-95 south is back open after a multi-vehicle crash near Lewistown Road backed up traffic for miles Friday afternoon.
VDOT warned drivers to plan for major delays since the wreck closed the interstate’s left shoulder and left and center lanes.
As of 4:20 p.m., traffic was backed up for eleven miles even though the interstate had reopened.
