RICHMOND, Va. — Due to multiple crashes on Monday morning, commuters can expect traffic delays in several areas, according to VDOT.

Shortly after 8 a.m. a crash disrupted traffic on I-295:
I-295 north (Henrico) – The left lane is closed near I-95 due to a crash. There is currently a 4 mile backup. Expect delays.
Then, a little bit later a crash along I-95 caused delays:
I-95 north (Richmond) – The ramp from I-95 north to Broad St. (Exit 74C) narrows due to a crash. Drivers can get by but should use caution on the ramp. There is currently a 3 mile backup. Expect delays.
The I-95 ramp has since reopened and the backup is clear.
