CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. — Police are searching for a man they say robbed a Chesterfield Wells Fargo Saturday morning.
A man walked into the bank at 7202 Midlothian Turnpike just after 9 a.m., pointed a silver handgun at the teller and passed a note demanding money, police said. He then fled the scene in a white vehicle.
“The suspect is described as a black male, about 20-30 years old and 5 feet 9 inches tall,” Lt. Jason Seamster said. “He was wearing sunglasses, jeans, a white t-shirt, and had a tan bag around his neck.”
Police did not say how much money was stolen. No one was hurt during the robbery.
