Local singer appears on President Obama’s Top 20 Summer Jams Spotify playlist!

WASHINGTON, D.C.–The White House released a Spotify playlist of songs hand-picked by President Barack Obama, who’s currently vacationing on Martha’s Vineyard, on Friday morning. The list includes the hit song “Nothing Even Matters” by Lauryn Hill and Chesterfield native D’Angelo.

The playlist also includes a mix of genres, such as hip-hop, jazz, R&B and folk from a variety of artists, including Beyonce, Frank Sinatra and Joni Mitchell.

“Take a listen to the 20 picks for a summer night,” the description for the playlist states.
