RICHMOND, Va. -- This year GWAR-BQis meatier and bloodier, with three days of events, including brunch at the GWAR bar in Historic Jackson Ward -- where intergalactic guitarist Pustulus Maximus caught up with CBS 6.

So three days to celebrate, why three days?

“Three days -- we just figured one day just wasn`t enough,” Pustulus said. “We had so many people come out last year and the year before everybody wanted more, people are still going out gallivanting around the city Friday and Sunday, so we figured why not do something official for them.”

Yeah so you start with the "B4BQ" Friday at the National?

“Yeah Friday at 3 o`clock, a ton of bands Arch Enemy, Fear Factory, Coal Chamber [Born of Osiris, Veil of Maya, The Acacia Strain, Cattle Decapitation, Beyond Creation] it`s gonna be a pretty big day so, pretty big show to kick off the festival,” Pustulus said.

And then Saturday at Hadad's, which is a pretty big event in itself.

“Saturday the main event, totally kid friendly at Hadad's water park, it`s gonna be really cool,” Pustules said.

And new this year you`re doing a Sunday brunch here at the bar and also in Abner Clay Park, which is next door to the bar?

"Sunday in the park from 2 – 6 p.m., we`re gonna have some bands play across the street,” Pustulus said. “I think it`s gonna be cool as well, definitely good way to end the weekend.”

And thank you for dressing up for us.

“Dressing up?!”

“This is what I put on every day!”
