RICHMOND, Va. -- After months of questions regarding how Richmond residents will navigate through the city when the UCI Road World Championship starts on September 19th, a website has been launched that should answer most of them.

Wednesday, Richmond 2015 officials launched Navigate.Richmond2015.com, to help the city plan for the influx of crowds. The site also includes information on where to watch, navigate, entertainment, parking, transportation and frequently asked questions.

Here are six things you need to know:

What will be closed?

Only one road will be closed throughout the entire race. That is the stretch of Broad Street between 3rd and 7th Streets. That section will service much of the infrastructure needed to conduct the race.

What is the most impacted section?

If you live or work between 2nd Street and Governor Street & Main Street and Broad Street, your life will be impacted daily. That is the only section that will be closed each day of the race.

When will roads close?

Roads close an hour before the race that uses the road starts. They will reopen as soon as that particular race is finished.

Will roads be closed the entire time?

Richmond 2015 officials will allow traffic to flow onto closed streets when cyclists are not using that stretch. This will be carefully monitored and will only be done at specific spots.

Where can you park?

About a week before the race begins, fences will start being put up on streets where cars typically park. These fences will prevent anyone from parking there for the duration of the championship. As soon as a particular road is no longer needed to conduct races, fences will be removed and on street parking will resume.

Where will visitors park?

Those visiting Richmond will be encouraged to use off site parking locations. They include The Diamond, City Stadium, and the Anthem building. The cost will be around $10 and a free shuttle will be provided.
