RICHMOND, Va — It all started from a challenge in FIFA 15. That’s how former NFL star Chad Johnson ended up in Richmond Monday.

The former Pro Bowler was scheduled to be in Norfolk to support his daughter at the AAU Junior Olympics. But before that, Johnson went on Twitter and issue an open challenge to anyone in the area.

Johnson had many challengers, but picked ODU student, Christopher Molina-Wilkins who responded with his address.

Problem was Johnson accidentally flew to Richmond instead of Norfolk. When Johnson arrived he realized he wasn’t close to his challengers address. Johnson said he called Uber and took the two hour drive to Norfolk.

Johnson said once he arrived he met Molina-Wilkins and some other students from ODU. He said he won some games, lost some game, but met some pretty cool guys.

Molina-Wilkins said he split two games with Johnson, but the series is to be continued.
