WAVERLY, Va. — An accident closed lanes along Route 460 near the town of Waverly in Sussex County, according to witnesses. Photos submitted by drivers showed traffic stopped on the highway.
“There was a crash on Route 460 in Sussex County/Southampton County line this afternoon,” a VDOT spokeswoman said.
The road as since reopened. Details about the crash have not yet been released.
