The weather is just right for the 7th Annual St. Elizabeth Jazz and Food Festival hosted by St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. The festival is on Saturday, August 1st, from noon - 7pm in the Highland Park community, the church is located at 2712 Second Avenue in North Richmond.
This year four bands are being featured Carlton Ayles, Glenroy Bailey, Curv Appeal, and a new band out of the DC area Double Digit. Nutzy from the Flying Squirrels will visit, there will be raffle drawings, games, activities, community awareness programs and resources available as well as food trucks this year. No food, coolers or beverages can enter the festival. Admission is only $5.00 and will benefit the church and it's programs for the community.
