CHICAGO -- Terrifying and disgusting. That is what a couple called the person who dressed up like a creepy clown, broke into a Chicago cemetery and slowly waved at them from the graveyard. Julia Graham told CBS Chicago she was quote "freaked out" when she figured out what it was she saw in the cemetery.

"When we get closer we realize it's a clown which is super weird," Graham said. "This was somebody, like putting forth a lot of effort, and being really weird."

The incident happened at about 10 p.m. one night last week. It appeared the person in the clown costume climbed a seven-foot tall fence to enter the graveyard. Cemetery officials said they don't know what to make of it because other than the trespass there were no complaints of vandalism.

Videos and photos of creepy clowns went viral last year with incident reported in California and New York.

Eventually the clown caught in the headlights of Graham's car turned around and without saying a word took off into the darkness of the cemetery.
