RICHMOND, Va. — Traffic was stalled on I-95 south headed out of the city Friday afternoon.
VDOT reported a multi-vehicle accident closed all southbound lanes near the James River bridge (mile marker 74).
However, traffic was able to get by on the right shoulder.
As of 5:50 p.m., traffic remained backed up around five miles, but all lanes had reopened.
