School supply drive for teachers seeks to collect three high-demand items

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va -- Ahead of the 2015-2016 academic year, the Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce is  collecting school supplies for district teachers. The main items being requested:

  1. Staplers
  2. Tape dispensers
  3. Three-ring hole punchers

The Chamber said those are the supplies most often requested by teachers. The Chamber's leaders are also challenging member businesses to donate one of each items. Cash donations are also being accepted at Chesterfield Federal Credit Union branches.

Supplies may be dropped off at the following locations:

  • Chesterfield Schools Administration Building, 9900 Krause Road
  • Edible Arrangements, 9736 Midlothian Turnpike
  • Omega Learning Center, 7061 Commons Plz #B
  • Commonwealth Photography, 4227 Old Hundred Road
  • Chesterfield Federal Credit Union branches

The supplies may also be taken to the Chamber's monthly meetings. The drive runs from July 8th through August 14th.
