310-pound robbery suspect wanted for Forest Hill Avenue crimes

RICHMOND, Va. — Richmond Police are asking for help to identify a suspect in a recent robbery and an attempted robbery. The suspect entered a Metro PCS store, located at 5061 Forest Hill Avenue, at approximately 11:42 a.m. Friday, July 3, brandished a handgun and stole cash. He fled the scene on foot.

Then on Tuesday, July 7, at  approximately 10:35 p.m., he entered the Forest Hill Market, located at 7500 Forest Hill Avenue, and attempted to rob an employee. The suspect fled on foot without taking anything. There were no injuries in either case.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall and weigh approximately 310 pounds. He had a full beard and wore a white tank top, camouflage shorts, cap and sneakers. He fled the scene on foot.
