“When the store owner entered, he encountered the suspect and the suspect pulled out a pocket knife. After a brief altercation, the suspect fled the store on foot,” a police spokeswoman said. “A broken window was later discovered near the basement door, which is believed to be the suspect’s point of entry. A number of items and cash were stolen from the store.”

Police described the suspect as a white male with a stocky build in his 20’s, between 5’5” and 5’7”, and weighing 160 to 180 pounds with short brown hair and slight facial hair. Anyone with information about this case is urged to call Detective Lamb at (540) 654 –5740.
