Henrico Fire vehicle involved in crash near Richmond airport

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. — Police are investigating a Wednesday morning crash between a Henrico Fire SUV and a mustang. The crash happened near the intersection of Charles City Road and Airport Road.

“There was a two vehicle accident involving a passenger vehicle and a Division of Fire vehicle,” Henrico Police spokesman Lt. Chris Eley said. “Both individuals were transported to VCU Medical Center with minor injuries and the incident remains under investigation.”

The incident occurred at approximately 7:15 Wednesday morning.
