BLACKSBURG, Va. -- While the countdown for the new Star Wars movie is underway, you may be able to see Darth Vader a little sooner than December. That’s because the Sith Lord has adopted a stretch of highway --  U.S. 460 -- in Blacksburg.

Montgomery County Schools bus driver Henry Wakley adopted the stretch of road using the infamous name.  Wakley told WSLS he thought drivers would get a good laugh out of the sign and hoped it reminded them to adopt their own stretch of road to keep clean.

In the video, you can see Wakley along the highway in his Darth Vader mask as well as his adopt a highway sign. Wakley said he planned to clean up his portion of the highway in his Darth Vader costume again later this month.
