LOUISA COUNTY, Va. -- The body of a 19-year-old man from Fairfax was recovered from Lake Anna Sunday afternoon.
The Louisa County Sherriff’s Office told WTVR CBS 6 News Justin Briggs was last seen on a dock at the lake around 1:30 a.m.
A dive team from Spotsylvania County discovered his body around 5:30 p.m.
The Central Virginianreported that Briggs was visiting a home on the lake with a group of his fraternity brothers.
The newspaper also reported the teen's body was found about 20 feet from the dock.
Authorities said the incident is being investigated as a drowning.
