HENRICO COUNTY, Va. — A wreck that closed all lanes of I-64 east in Henrico County just east of Bottoms Bridge Friday afternoon has been cleared.
VDOT reports all the interstate’s eastbound lanes near mile marker 204 were back open just after 5 p.m.
However, VDOT officials said the backup heading east remained at about four miles. Additionally, the backup heading west after the interstate’s westbound left lane was closed backed up traffic for about a mile.
Drivers were warned to expect residual delays.
Additionally, a multi-vehicle wreck on I-64 east in New Kent County just before the West Point exit for Route 30 has closed the interstate’s left shoulder.
As of 4:30 p.m., traffic was backed up for about a mile.
