RICHMOND, Va - Powhatan High School’s JROTC Program has teamed up with Stop Hunger Now to attempt to raise enough funds to package over one million meals. Stop Hunger Now is a non-profit organization that works to end world hunger by providing food and life changing aid to the world’s most vulnerable communities. Cadet George Albert and Cadet Harlan Menger visited the studio to share details about their upcoming Summer Music Fest Concert.  The Summer Fest Music Concert is Saturday, August 8th from 2pm to 10pm at Village of Powhatan. The JROTC Program will package the meals on November 7th and 8th at Powhatan High School, located at 1800 Judes Ferry Road in Powhatan.
