Gunman robs Henrico Wendy’s while restaurant was open for business

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. -- Police continue to search for a man who walked into the Wendy’s along the 2200 block of E. Laburnum Avenue and robbed the fast food restaurant. The man wore a mask and carried a gun, police said.

The masked gunman entered the restaurant at about 10:40 p.m. Tuesday, while the Wendy's was open for business. The robber took cash from the restaurant and then ran away. No one was hurt and no shots were fired, police said.

Police have not yet released a description of the robber. Anyone who saw anything that could help police solve this crime was asked to call Crime Stoppers at 804-780-1000.
