HANOVER COUNTY, Va. — Traffic is backed up for miles on I-95 south at Lewistown Rd. (mile marker 89) due to a crash, according to VDOT.
“The left and center lanes are now open. The right lane remains closed,” VDOT advised at 8 a.m. “A nine-mile backup also remains. Expect residual delays.”
Details about the nature of the crash have not yet been released, however an image from a VDOT traffic camera appears to show a tractor trailer was involved in the crash.
