Severe storm risk exists with Thursday evening storms

RICHMOND, Va. -- A warm front will lift northward during the day today, bringing heat and humidity back into the region.  Scattered strong to severe storms will develop by late afternoon and evening, with storms along the front having a greater chance of producing tornadoes.  Below are the latest outlooks from the Storm Prediction Center (SPC) for both the overall severe weather risk (hail/wind) and tornadoes.
