Every year on the third Friday in June, Tropical Smoothie Café celebrates National Flip Flop Day, when we raise funds to benefit our national charity partner, Camp Sunshine. What started as a holiday to thank our customers for their loyalty to our brand, has turned into a mission to raise money for Camp Sunshine and support children with life-threatening illnesses and their families.

This year on June 19th, Tropical Smoothie Café will celebrate our 9th annual National Flip Flop Day. Come by one of our cafes wearing flip flops on June 19th between 2 pm to 7 pm for National Flip Flop Day and we’ll recognize your support with a FREE 24 oz. Jetty Punch Smoothie!!

Within the beautiful grounds of Camp Sunshine, children and their families are invited to make magical memories together, surrounded by professionals dedicated to giving them the emotional and medical support they need. In fact, they are the only organization in the nation committed to addressing the effects of a life-threatening illness on not only the child who is ill, but the entire family.

Each year, Camp Sunshine offers countless families the opportunity to put aside the stress and severity of having a child with an illness and just have fun. It costs $2,000 to send one family to camp for a week, but thanks to the compassion of people like you, these families are able to attend completely free of charge.
