Teens accused of causing $40,000 in damage at Chesterfield middle school

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- Three teens have been arrested for allegedly vandalized Providence Middle School Saturday night.

Chesterfield police said the teens allegedly vandalized the school at 900 Starlight Lane causing damage estimated at $40,000.

Detectives said the teens shattered windows, spray-painted trees and set off fire extinguishers inside the school.

Officers caught two of the teens inside the building. A third teen was later arrested.
