SWEET BRIAR, Va. -- Administrators at Sweet Briar College have ordered students enrolled in a summer business class to halt a T-shirt fundraiser which aims to keep the school open.

According to the Associated Press, the college's vice president for finance and administration told students they could not raise money for the alumni association trying to keep the school open citing a conflict of interest.

The alumni group is suing the school over its decision to close.

The State Supreme Court ruled last week that the Amherst County commonwealth's attorney could file another temporary injunction to keep Sweet Briar open.
