RICHMOND, Va. — Richmond’s dining scene has risen to the spotlight, and the Broad Appetit food festival is the best way to get out there and try those restaurants you’ve been eyeing. The price is right at $3/per mini-dish.

The festival is in its sixth year. It’s one of the few times you will see Broad Street closed, from Henry to Adams Street.

Keep in mind though, that MOST EVERYONE has the same brilliant idea to get out there and eat. Be ready. Have a game plan.

The festival runs from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m., and offers music, drinks and food. There are tables and seats along Broad Street.

Virginia beers will be exclusively poured at the festival this year. A sampling cup is available for $5 and includes 3 sampling tickets, additional tickets are available for $1 each. Full cups of beer and wine will be available for purchase as well.
