Dukes of Hazzard car crashes on I-64 near Short Pump

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. — A celebrity car crash turned heads on Interstate 64 east near the Short Pump exit Thursday afternoon. It was not a celebrity driving the car that crashed, the actual vehicle itself is pretty famous. The car that ran off the interstate and into the woods was a replica of The General Lee, the 1969 Dodge Charger made famous in the hit television show The Dukes of Hazzard.

State Police said the crash remained under investigation and no one was seriously hurt in the accident. Anyone with additional information about the crash (like the driver’s name) can email a news tip here.
