Man thrown from ATV lands in Chesterfield driveway

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. – A 41-year-old man was hospitalized after he was thrown from an ATV Monday night. Chesterfield Police officers were called to the 3600 block of Hamlin Creek Parkway around 8:20 p.m.

"The 41-year-old male operator was traveling on the roadway when he lost control and was thrown from the four-wheeler," Chesterfield Police Lt. Jonathan W. Miller said.

The man landed beside a vehicle parked in a nearby driveway, Miller added. The man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The man's name has not yet been released.
