RICHMOND, Va — If you have the day off on Monday, or a moment to slip away during your lunch break, you might consider visiting one of Richmond’s museums. That’s because Monday is International Museum Day.

In honor of the holiday, the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts is offering free admission to its special exhibit, Van Gogh, Manet, and Matisse: The Art of the Flower. Admission to the exhibit is normally $15 for adults.

International Museum Day was created to encourage people who have never been to a museum before, or have not visited one in a while, to do so.
