Car malfunction responsible for crash into Fas-Mart

RICHMOND, Va. — A car slammed into a Richmond convenience store Wednesday night.

Around 8 p.m. the car slammed into the Fas-Mart, located in the 6200 block of Midlothian Turnpike.

An elderly man was behind the wheel, police said, when his car malfunctioned and ran into the store.

No one was injured and no charges have been filed at this time.
